How long does a bespoke website take to build?
Typical business website: 2-4 weeks from brief to launch. More complex builds with custom functionality can run 4-8 weeks. You'll get a realistic timeline with the quote, not a fantasy one.
Can I edit my own content after launch?
Yes. Every site I ship comes with a clean admin area. You edit text, swap images, add pages and publish updates yourself. No plugin updates, no compatibility headaches.
What if I need changes down the line?
I'm still around. Most of my clients call me when they want changes and I either fold it into their monthly support or quote it as a mini-project. No offshore ticket queue, just me.
Do I actually own the site?
Yes, completely. The code is yours, the content is yours, the domain is yours. If you ever wanted to take it to another developer, you could, though I hope you won't.
