Web Designer in Marlborough.

Marlborough's high street is one of the prettiest in the country, and the businesses on it deserve a website with the same level of care. No templates pulled off a marketplace, no stock-image agency polish — just a site designed and built around you, from a workshop twenty minutes away in Devizes.

Businesses that fit the Marlborough brief.

Marlborough attracts discerning customers who notice the details. Design quality, copy quality, speed and trust all matter here more than in most towns.

Boutique retailers

Independent fashion, homewares, gifts. Product photography that loads instantly, a checkout that feels as considered as your shop.

Pubs, inns & restaurants

Room availability, table bookings, set menus, events. Built to sit alongside your EPOS and calendar, not replace them with a monthly-subscription SaaS.

Equestrian & countryside

Liveries, trainers, tack, riding schools. Deposit-taking, lesson scheduling, gallery pages that do justice to proper photos.

Private practitioners

Tutors, therapists, consultants. Quiet, private, professional online presence with booking flows that respect client confidentiality.

Artisan makers

If you sell through craft fairs, galleries or commission, your website should do the same. Not a Shopify template pretending to be an artisan.

Village & estate businesses

Savernake, Mildenhall, Ramsbury, Aldbourne. If you're out in the villages, I'll still come to you. Rural clients are most of my client book.

Design that earns its place on Marlborough High Street.

Most "web designers" are really page-builder operators — picking a theme, dropping in your logo, and calling it done. That's fine if your competition is doing the same. Marlborough's isn't.

I design the pages, I write the code, I optimise the images, I wire up the payment provider. Every decision gets a proper answer rather than "whatever the plugin supports". Read why bespoke matters or see the portfolio.

Marlborough questions.

Design-minded questions from design-minded clients.

Can you match the aesthetic of a Marlborough boutique?

Yes. I design from scratch rather than dropping your logo into a theme, so the look and feel of the site gets built to match your shop, your photography and your tone — not whatever the plugin ships with.

Do you work with clients out in the villages — Ramsbury, Aldbourne, Savernake?

A lot of my client book is actually in villages, not towns. I'm happy to drive out for the initial meeting and then work remotely after that. Nothing about rural is a problem.

Is Laravel overkill for a small artisan business?

No. Laravel scales both ways — it's perfectly comfortable powering a one-page portfolio and it's what I'd reach for if you outgrew it later. You never hit a ceiling, and you never pay for complexity you don't use.

Can you integrate with my existing EPOS / booking / stock software?

Usually yes. If it has an API or an export, it can talk to your website. I've integrated Lightspeed, Square, Stripe, Resdiary, Mailchimp and plenty of others. If it's more niche, I'll check first before we commit to anything.
